Foodie Friday: What I Ate

Crockpot london broil - steak, onions, carrots, celery
and a 28oz can of tomatoes, low for 8 hours.
I make a lot of food.  But I am also a busy person.  I have a full time job, a full time husband and I try to exercise at least 3 days a week.  I am finding recently that if I put off something until after work, there is a good chance I'm not going to do it.  Last night I was at the office until 6, so I missed my usual 5:30 workout. Yes, there is one at 6:30, but then I don't get home until 8, you know the drill.  Point of my story, I have to eat, so I do cook many more meals that make it to the website, mostly because I am in a hurry and don't have time to write everything down and take pictures (my lightbox is helping!).  So here's a few meals I have had recently.  Great thing about paleo is I can wake up at 5:30 am to write here and actually write something coherent.  I think.

I just found out there is a Honeyville Grain store "near" me.  Rancho Cucamonga here I come!
And I did I tell you I got a food dehydrator?  I am really excited to start sucking the water out of things.
I may need to rethink that statement about being coherent.

Salmon Cakes with Lemon Aioli

Ian's creation - Eye of Round with Kale pesto,
with a side of herbed zucchini and summer squash.
Breakfast yesterday - Homemade sausage (ground pork, italian seasonings, sage and fennel)
alongside scrambled eggs with spinach, tomatoes and peppers.
(it was still steaming when I took that picture)

Great brunch item - Zucchini frittata with a green salad topped
with homemade balsamic vinaigrette.
