- I read about food, like, ALOT. I made some butternut squash pancakes the other day, and thinking about my past pancake recipes, wondering why they turned out so brown. I started thinking it was the almond meal, but after a few minutes of Googling, I realized it was my overuse of baking soda. This article helped me realize the error of my ways. I switched up my baking soda/powder ratio, and the next batch of pancakes came out superb.
- I love reading other food blogs, I will read anything. I found two recently that I really like.
- What This Foodie Eats - the author is in the middle of a Whole30 and has some inspiring recipes and just general info on what she eats on a daily basis. I don't know why I find what other people eat so interesting.
- Rawified - It blows me away that this girl is only 15. The recipes are amazing, and RAW, which is even more amazing. And she lives on a farm, awesome!
- Kit's Organic Fruit and Nut Bar - Clifbar's answer to the Larabar, but way better! I had the Almond Berry and Chocolate Coconut, both were delicious. The texture is different than a Larabar, and I find the flavor to be a bit less fake (even though I know there is nothing fake), and more potent. Only downside is they are more expensive than a Larabar, luckily Sprouts had them 4/$5. I stocked up.
